After a heavy wire-brushing of the open grain, skilled artisans at Hakwood use traditional tools to effect a genuinely hand-hewn texture, resulting in a characteristic tactility that feels as good as it looks.
Complex colour treatments, including fuming the underlying French White Oak and multiple oils, reflect subtle light points across the multi-faceted surfaces.
Exposed brickwork, clad and painted surfaces, and hardwood decking complete the palette of hard finishes.
The 240 mm wide floorboards were complemented by matching stair elements by Hakwood.
