Credit card payments will incur an additional 3.5% surcharge, as these bank fees are not included in our standard costing.
A 50% deposit is required to confirm an order and secure any valid material quote.
Once an order has been placed with our supply partners or custom fabrication has commenced, deposits are non-refundable.
The balance payment is due in full once goods are ready for dispatch from our Cape Town warehouse.
This applies to all products supplied, including (but not limited to) flooring, veneer panels, decking, and cladding.
“Ready for dispatch” means the finished goods have been received into our warehouse and are available for collection or delivery.
We will notify you when goods are ready. Full payment is required before any goods are released or dispatched.
Lead times are provided as estimates and depend on production schedules, shipping conditions, and supplier shutdown periods.
Typical lead times for bespoke or imported products are approximately 12 – 14 weeks from order confirmation and receipt of the deposit, excluding any stated production closures.
Once goods are ready for dispatch and you have been notified, full payment of the outstanding balance is required prior to release.
Following full payment, we will store the goods at no charge until the site is ready for delivery.
While stored at our warehouse, goods remain insured against fire and are available for inspection during office hours.
Stock is supplied ex our Cape Town warehouse unless otherwise arranged.
Delivery by an independent transporter is limited to offloading within 1 metre of the delivery vehicle. Any further movement of goods on site remains the responsibility of the client or contractor unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Risk in the goods passes to the client upon delivery or collection.
It is the responsibility of the client and/or contractor to correctly store and acclimatise all timber products on site. We do not accept liability for materials that are incorrectly stored or not adequately acclimatised after delivery.
Ownership of all goods remains with us until full payment has been received.
Once an order has been confirmed, any changes may affect pricing, lead times, or quantities.
Where orders have already been placed with our supply partners or custom fabrication has started, changes may not be possible.
Orders cannot be cancelled once placed with our supply partners or once custom fabrication has commenced.
In the unlikely event that a cancellation is accepted, we reserve the right to recover any costs already incurred.
All quantities must be measured and confirmed by a quantity surveyor or other person authorised by the client.
Additional material is required for grading and cutting allowance. We are not liable for incorrect quantity assessments.
Timber is a natural product and will exhibit variation in colour, grain, and texture.
Individual samples may not represent the full range of variation. Clients are encouraged to consult the supplier reference material and wide-area imagery.
It is important to review grading descriptions to understand the natural characteristics of the selected product.
Any claims relating to shortages, defects, or damage must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery or collection.
Claims cannot be considered once goods have been installed.
We do not provide installation services or act as a subcontractor.
We may refer clients to independent installation companies; however, we are not party to any agreements between clients and installers.
All installation methods, materials, and workmanship remain the responsibility of the appointed installer.
We do not accept liability for installation outcomes.
Any site visits are undertaken as a courtesy and do not transfer responsibility for installation.
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform where these are caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including supplier delays, shipping disruptions, or other unforeseen events.

Timber flooring will naturally oxidise over time due to exposure to light, resulting in a colour change.
Dark and light-stained floors may require more frequent maintenance due to visible wear patterns.

Bjelin “Hardened Wood” flooring is typically installed as a floating floor.
We recommend a 2 mm “Softlon Tuff” underlay, installed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. A vapour barrier may be required depending on site conditions.
Avoid wet mopping; use a lightly dampened microfiber system with appropriate cleaning solution.

Leeuwenburgh veneer is intended for interior joinery and cladding applications.
Installation must be carried out on stable substrates with appropriate adhesives and moisture control.
Clients and installers must consult all relevant technical documentation prior to installation.
Kebony decking is a modified wood product designed for exterior applications.
Boards must be installed on a properly ventilated substructure with adequate drainage and spacing.
Kebony will naturally weather to a silver-grey patina if left untreated.
All installations must comply with manufacturer guidelines.
